Loving-kindness & Compassion
Loving-kindness (metta) and compassion (karuna) meditation is developed and cultivated every evening during the retreat.
You will learn how to systematically cultivate thoughts of love, kindness, gratitude and forgiveness towards individuals, various groups and all sentient beings.
Vipassana insight meditation
Buddhist meditation or mind development is the cultivation of wholesome mind states.
The purpose of insight meditation (vipassana) is to be truly aware of reality in order to let go of attachments – it is the path to the cessation of suffering.
